Zig Zag Quilt

So, I took the plunge and finally started my first quilt. I’ve made great progress on it so far and hoping to complete it by March so I can use it a little before summer. I’ve always thought that it would be terribly difficult but it’s been so easy and fun! I found a wonderful tutorial through the purlbee blog (great resource for tons of crafty projects by the way). Now, I’m completely obsessed! Daydreaming of new patterns and colors all the time.

Life through an iphone

It’s been a jam packed January, full of family gatherings, yummy home cooked meals, and birthday celebrations.

Sretsis

I love Sretsis’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. Super cute dresses and prints. I wish I could afford the blue and white dress in the first picture.

The mister

Here’s a little look at one of my mister’s old pictures. I couldn’t resist taking picture of this from his grandma’s photo album.

More awesome pics of the husband from his grandmother's house.

Chris is on the left. I can’t take how amazingly cute these two were! The glasses!

Daydreaming about…

Doc Martens! I’ve been feeling a little nostalgic for my favorite footwear from high school.

So cool!

I saw on Gizmodo this morning a story about this awesome women who sneaked into a Russian rocket factory. Lana Sator is her name and she’s kinda badass. Check out the link to see more absolutely amazing and beautiful photos.

Happy New Year!

Yikes! Has it really been four months since I last posted? Time has really gone by fast! Sadly, I don’t have a lot of exciting news to report about the last four months. I’ve been mainly focusing on family life and hanging out with my little cutie, Agatha. There’s been some sprinkle of sewing time for the shop but those have been few and far between.

I’m definitely hoping that I can get going again on the shop this year since Aggy is getting bigger and I’ve become more comfortable with having time away from her (I just want to snuggle her all the time!). I hope everyone is having a good year so far!

Didn't realized that Aggy and I matched!
